About Us

Humboldt Park is a vital community space that should be safe, clean, and accessible for all neighbors. Unfortunately, our leaders have neglected their responsibilities, allowing the park to fall into disrepair. Encampments have grown, trash has piled up and safety has become a serious concern for residents and visitors alike.

We are a group of concerned and dedicated neighbors committed to ensuring the ongoing preservation of Humboldt Park. We believe that everyone deserves a park that is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming to all. Our mission is to hold our leaders in the 26th Ward, Chicago Park District and City Hall accountable and push for effective, lasting solutions that keep Humboldt Park free of encampments and safe for everyone in our community.

Join us in our efforts to restore Humboldt Park to a place where every resident, housed or unhouse, can feel safe and enjoy the beauty of our shared green space. Together, we can make a difference.
